INLET AIR FILTER
Inlet air filtration for the M200-250 is accomplished by a large 99,9% efficient at 3 micron and above, dry type air filter. This is more than suitable for the vast majority of applications: However, where high dust and dirt contamination in the ambient air is present.
AIR END
The air end is the fundamental component in any rotary screw compressor package. Reliability, performance and efficiency are determined by design, maintaining close manufacturing tolerances and precise assembly of the air end itself.
The function of a coolant injected screw compressor air end is very simple. In principle it is a positive displacement compressor and the mechanics of compression are the same as reciprocating, sliding vane or lobe type compressors. The outside ambient air is drawn through an inlet air filter into the compression module. By rotating male and female rotor, the male rotor starts to mesh at the inlet end with the female rotor. The male lobs squeeze the trapped air towards the discharge port, which causes the pressure to rise. A steady injection of coolant during the compression through pressure nozzles lubricates the rotors, adsorbs the heat of compression and provides for rotor sealing.
The rotors are manufactured from AISI-C-1141 forged steel. After the machining process has been completed, each rotor is inspected on three axes for dimensional integrity. The rotor housings are made of close grain high quality cast iron. Each housing is dimensionally checked to ensure accuracy.
The bearing configuration used on M200-250 models is time proven SSR tapered roller bearing design.The tapered roller bearing essentially consists of constructing the roller elements, as well as the raceways, so that lines drawn coincident with the working surfaces of the rollers and races will all meet at a common point on the axis of the bearing. This allows the bearing to handle all loads, radial, thrust or both. With this bearing configuration, the discharge end of the male and female rotors are each equipped with a pair of tapered roller bearings offset at opposing axis for maximum absorption of thrust and radial loads. High quality cylindrical roller bearings are used to carry the radial loads on the inlet end of the rotors. All bearings, whether thrust or radial, are high quality vacuum degassed bearings, which provide a harder running surface for both inner and outer bearing races.
Coolant dams are machined at each bearing location. The coolant dam provides an area for coolant to collect or pond when the compressor is shut off. Upon start up the roller bearing which is resting in coolant in the coolant dam begins to rotate and is immediately lubricated. This unique design improves bearing and air end life time. (Airends without coolant dams may
operate dry for many seconds on start up.)
MAIN DRIVE MOTOR-GENERAL
The main drive motor has been carefully selected to meet precisely the requirements of air compressor applications. Torque and load requirements of the compressor were matched to specific design criteria that enabled the compressor motor to develop peak efficiency and power factor at full load.
Standard units are supplied with IP23 rated motor, insulation class F, in a 46 º C ambient.
FRAME
Motor frame and end brackets are of cast iron or aluminium with integrally cast feet. This provides maximum strength and rigidity for bearing support, uniform stator/rotor gap and flanged permanent
alignment of all mating parts.
ELECTRICAL DESIGN
Speed, torque and operating characteristics have been designed to match the load of the compressor. Motor efficiency and power factor have been optimised to cover the entire capacity range of the SSR compressors. Standard motors are wound for 400V/3ph/50Hz to cover the most common voltages. (other voltages are available upon request).
BEARINGS
Vacuum degassed ball bearings for the non drive end and roller bearings for the drive end provide dependable and reliable service. The motor shaft has the largest possible standard diameter. This means that larger bearings are fitted. These oversized bearings have an average applied life , which is approximately eight times greater than a standard bearing life. Both bearings are grease lubricated with bearing housings having inlet and relief fittings to simplify the lubrication procedures.
INSULATION
The motor is rated for 46°C ambient with a max. temperature rise of 89°C at full load (1.15) in a 46°C ambient. All windings and leads are copper with triple coats of insulating varnish to add extra margins of protection to the driver.
TERMINAL BOX
The main motor is equipped with flying leads, directly wired into the starter box. This eliminates the need of a terminal box on the main motor.

主机
主机是螺杆式空气压缩机的核心部分。主机设计的初衷:质量可靠,性能稳定而且运行效率高。不但使制造偏差最小化,而且使主机能精确安装。
注入空压机主机的冷却剂的作用非常简单。原则上,空压机的机械结构与活塞式,滑片式或叶片式空压机相同。外界空气通过进气过滤器吸入压缩腔内。阳转子和阴转子高速旋转
,在进气端相互齿合,挤压吸入的空气后,从排气端排出,同时提高空气压力。在空气压缩阶段,通过压力喷嘴注入的冷却剂不但能润滑转子,吸收压缩过程中的热量,而且起到转子密封作用。
转子采用 AISI-C-1141锻造钢为材料。每个转子经过三坐标仪上进行完整性测试。转子座用致密铸铁制成。每个转子座的尺寸都经过检查,以确保精确度。
在M200-250的轴承构造采用经久耐用的SSR 背对背滚锥轴承设计。
滚柱轴承主要由滚子和滚道组成。以线接触方式承受推力载荷,这使轴承能承受各种径向,轴向推力负载。由于这种轴承结构,阴/阳转子的排气端在其相互偏置的主轴上都装一对圆锥滚子推力轴承以最大限度地吸收轴向推力和径向载荷。转子进气端则采用优质圆柱滚子轴承以承受径向载荷。无论轴向推力轴承还是径向轴承均用精密级负压排气轴承,其内外滚道的滚动表面更硬,更精确。
在每个轴承中都有冷却剂油槽。在压缩机停机时,可以筹集冷却剂,一旦再次启动时,轴承就能得到充分润滑,延长轴承和主机的使用寿命。(没有冷却剂油槽的主机会在开机时,干摩擦数秒钟。)
主电机-简述
主电机都是根据空压机应用的需要精心选择的。扭矩和负载都能满足特殊设计标准,以便在负载条件下电机效率和功率系数最优化。标准机组都配备使用环境温度达46 C的IP23额定电机,F级绝缘材料。
电机框架
电机的框架和端盖都为铸铁材料或铝制铸件。这样更为牢固地支撑轴承,使转子和锭子间的间隙均匀,而且使所有偶合的部件都法兰式的永久平行。
电器设计
设计转速,扭矩及运行参数均满足压缩机的载荷要求。电机效率和功率系数已达最佳程度,能满足SSR所有系列空气压缩机的气量要求。标准电机为400v/3相/50 Hz, 以适合于最为普遍的电压要求(有其他电压选项)。
轴承
非驱动端上采用负压排气球轴承,驱动端上采用圆柱滚锥轴承,使机组性能可靠。电机轴的标准直径最大化,以便适应大尺寸的轴承。这些加大尺寸的轴承的寿命比一般轴承的寿命长八倍。这两种轴承在轴承槽中被流经的冷却剂润滑,从而简化了润滑的程序。
绝缘材料
电机的使用环境温度在46C, 负载(1.15)条件下,最大温升为89 C。所有线圈和导线都是在铜线外凃加三层绝缘漆,以最大程度保护驱动系统。
接线盒
主电机中有导线引出,直接连接电控箱。这样,就不需要在电机上在接一个接线盒。
